*STUDENTS MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND BE 14 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE.*
~please note: a one-day workshop will not qualify you for the skill level in the classes below~
The terms "experienced beginner", "advanced beginner", and "intermediate" are subjective and tend to change with our evolving student body. All of the classes below are for experienced students only. If you are joining us with experience from a different studio we highly recommend working one on one with an instructor before requesting to be in a class. This is to ensure that you are placed in the appropriate class for your skill level when a spot opens up.
There are no online sign ups for these classes, instead we ask that you email us. Requests are first come first servedwith priority given to students that were signed up for the previous session. Although we wish we could accommodate everyone, these classes often fill quickly with returning students. If you miss out, reach out to us about private lessons! Please be patient with our slow response time after classes are announced as we let the requests come in before getting back to everyone.
Here is what we have for our experienced students...
"CHEERS!" w/ Sarah LaSpada MONDAYS: 6:30-9:30pm LEVEL: EXPERIENCED BEGINNER STARTS January 27th (6 WEEKS) COST: $695 This class is the perfect way to button up some of the hand skills you have gained in an earlier class while building new skills that will make your work stand out! For the six weeks we are going to focus our attention on a very simple and attainable shape, the stemless wine glass. Each week we will learn a new technique that will add a level of professionalism to the finished piece including tricks to create thinner, more delicate lips as well as various color techniques to take your work to the next level!
*Please note: there will be no class on March 3rd to accommodate our visiting artists!*
"IN LIVING COLOR" w/ Kristin Imre TUESDAYS: 6:30-9:30pm LEVEL: ADVANCED BEGINNER STARTS January 28th (6 WEEKS) COST: $695 Last session we focused on how to effectively execute particular shapes, so let's complicate things by adding a ton of color! This class will be a fun intro/ refresher to various color techniques. We will discuss various frit applications as well as the use of color bar. We will add frit, twist it, wrap it, pick up color bar, learn about overlays, and much more. We will keep our shapes simple so we can focus on the technique and hand skills it takes to master them while still making colorful and interesting pieces. *Please note: there will be no class on March 4th to accommodate our visiting artists!*

Repetition will be key to building confidence and we hope you leave this session with a deeper understanding of hot glass and lots of muscle memory. *Please note: there will be no class on March 5th to accommodate our visiting artists!*
