Combine hot and cold, thick and thin, old and new in this intensive workshop where we will use optical properties of glass to create dynamic movement, magnification, and distortion. We will break down complex forms into basic parts and assemble them using fast and simple processes. Focusing on clear glass and working as a team, students will maximize their studio time, pushing their existing abilities and acquiring new skills while experimenting with new material properties. Students should come with a notebook, pencil, enthusiastic attitude and a an open mind.
